Internship Overview
Location: Hamilton, Madison, Hancock, and Marion Counties
Time Commitment:
10 Week: June 1 - August 7
Training: Saturday, May 30 10am - 1pm
10–15 hours/week (flexible)
We are seeking driven and enthusiastic Interns to join our campaign team and help advance a winning strategy grounded in people first values. This internship offers hands-on experience in the fast-paced environment of electoral politics, supporting voter outreach, field organizing, communications, digital engagement, and campaign operations.
The ideal candidate is passionate about civic engagement, committed to electing Stephanie Jo, and eager to contribute meaningfully to building momentum, mobilizing voters, and delivering results on Election Day. This is an opportunity to gain real-world campaign experience while playing an active role in shaping the future of our community.
While all Interns will be responsible for the core responsibilities, applicants should select a specialized area of work from the categories below.

Core Responsibilities (All Interns)
Knock Doors: 500 doors
Phone Bank: 500 - 1000 calls
Increase campaign exposure through social media
Event Support: Attend at least 2 summer events in support of campaign (parades, festivals, etc)
Internship Tracks
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Comms and Digital Media Intern
Create pre determined content
Clip video from events
Monitor comments & messages
Maintain Press List
Draft press releases and Op Eds
Track endorsements
Campaign Operations Intern
Manage and update contacts
Build sign distribution plan and work with Community/Volunteer Intern to identity placements
Support the management of the event calendar
Assist the Campaign Manager
Finance / Fundraising Intern
Call time prep
Donor research
Event support & follow-ups
Database updates
Manage donor tracking to support Treasurer
Community &Volunteer Engagement Intern
Outreach to community groups
Support recruitment of volunteers and yard sign placements
Train canvassing and phone banking volunteers
Serve as door knocking lead
